Gabe's Birthday Night

Tonight was a fun night! It was Gabe's birthday and we had a party at his house for him. I went over early and helped his wife, Wendy, setup decorations and the dj booth so we could play music. We've kind of started a new tradition and thats the photo booth. We all the thing. So that was setup in one of the back rooms so everyone that came over would have fun taking pictures. Lindy and I thought it was fun and i think we took like 20 pictures in all.

Later that night one of our friends, Brain came over on his new motorcycle. So he was letting all the guys take it for a spin. You know I had to jump on the thing. After I got used to the bike again I asked Lindy if she wanted to go for a ride. I love how daring this girl is. So is way too much fun and its good to have some one around that is exciting. Anyways, I couldn't go far and that was a bummer. But it was fun for the both of us!!

Gabe's Photobooth

So just so you know, Gabe and Wendy are my best friends. I've known them now for three years. Both before they married each other. Gabe owns the Dj business I Dj for. They are so much fun. Well back in the day, which was a Wednesday if you were curious, Gabe's business was small but growing. I remember how it used to be. Well now he does an array of thing. One of his new attractions that he brings to the table is a fully functioning portable photobooth. The dance that we did was for a youth conference. So all the kids got to take picture with their friends then we would print them out a copy. Well it wouldnt be complete if we didn't have ours done. Gabe and Wendy are the couple up front. The other couple is Russ and Antonia, friends who help us get the job done. The girl behind me is Bradee, she was shadowing me. Guess she wants to learn from the best.

Extreme Thing 2008

Back in March I went with my friends Josh Mojica and Matt Hurley to a music festival that is put on every year by one of Vegas' local alternative radio station. There were a lot of my favorite bands there, and as you can tell we totally rocked out! It was crazy to see all the mosh pits and stuff going on. There was this guy in a wheelchair that got picked up and crowd surfed. I thought that was really cool.

My Family is coming!!

I'm so excited cause my parents and sisters are coming to visit me here in Las Vegas. I haven't seen them since Jan. of this year. I'm glad they are coming cause I have missed my pops. They wont be here for a whole week but I can bear it.

Youth Dance

So one of the thing I said I love to do is Dj church youth dances. This past Saturday night I did a youth conference for a really awesome stake here in Vegas. The kids were loud and energetic which made my job so much fun. I took this picture while standing on a big box sub that was sitting on the floor. I jumped up there and yelled, "Picture time people."

There's always those couple of songs that make some of the kids want to show off a little. This picture was a lucky shot. I was standing on that sub again above the crowd. I remember that I heard all his change hit the floor.

All eyes on me huh? This is one of my favorite things to do as an activity. Its the snowball dance. At this point during the dance, the kids are having so much fun they'll do whatever. I really like this. Gets everyone slowdancing
.

So this is what the whole setup looks like. On the stage are two 12in highs. They alone could supply the dance with plenty of noise. But right on the floor in front of me I have side by side two, 18in box subs. The lights are something that we just got to try out for the first time this dance. They are the coolest L.E.D. lights I've ever seen. They can be any color and so much more.

All in all it was such a fun time. I had the kids jumping up and down to their favorite musics. Slow dancing to some classics, and even doing the Cotton Eye Joe, which is a must by the way.

Very First Post

Well hello world!
I bet all my family on here is thinking about time. Well yeah...it is. I'm grown up now. Too old for that MySpace garbage anymore. If my mother can have a blog why can't I. I'm excited to take you on this journey, the journey I call my life. There will be bumps and bruises. We may laugh. We may cry. But in the end you are my friend. I have lots to say. But my ears are just as big. So.....with that....lets get this party started shall we....!
